SRLL Contara
Date of Birth:  May 18, 2010
Sire:  Starr Alliance
Dam:  Westland's Constellation
Nice, big, stretchy girl and very proportional. Her fleece is a bay black, with great luster.  She will be a nice addition to any herd.  Entering the show ring at the Heartland Llama Show, Webster City, IA, May 2, she placed fourth.  Just way too anxious, first time away from the farm.  And, the competiton was stiff.  Tasha's favorite.  Exposed to Elwood Blues for a Fall, 2015 cria.

SRLL Faile`
Date of Birth: May 16, 2011                     Grand Champion Medium Wool Female, The Gathering, 2012
Sire: Starr Alliance                                 Second place, class of 19, behind SRLL Murali, 2012 Lamapalooza.
Dam:  SRLL Fa`iz
Love this spirited appy female. She is so curious and so full of herself.  Wonderful markings and presence, not to mention straight and correct carriage and gait.  We predict Faile will be a wonderful show girl.  The body is full of curly locks, but she is not a suri.  Pretty, pretty fleece full of grays, blacks, browns, on a cream base.  Faile` is bred to Elwood Blues for a Spring, 2015 cria.

SRLL Pthalo Blue

Date of Birth:  May 24, 2013
Sire: Elwood Blues                                                     Reserve Grand Champion Open Perforamance, 2014 Llama-Lympics
Dam: Noticia

A light silver gray boy.  Fleece is exceptionally fine.  In keeping with our belief that not every male is breeding quality, Pthalo was gelded.  He will be very competitive in performance, gelding, and fleece classes. First time out, with no obstacle training, just a few walks in the woods, having never worn a pack before, Pthalo earming Reserve Grand Champion in Open Performance, earning 13 ILR-SD points on his one and only time out.  Imagine what he could do with a little training.

Mandragoran has "The Look" which typifies these blood lines:  Tall, stretchy, big boned male that has come to exemplify Mona's offspring.  Charcoal with white star on the face.  Salt and pepper socks.  This boy stands at the head of the line, just like his brothers.  As Mandragoran, AKA Drago, is growing, he looks better and better.  He is a big boy.  Awesome.  Impressive.  Show stopper.  Nice fiber.  What can I say, this boy is supreme, meeting all the characterisitcs of our breeding program.  Mandragoran has now entered our breeding program.
SRLL Mere`ce

Dam: SRLL Mariquita
A big girl!  Strong, up and running within an hour.  Mariquita out did herself.  Growing up to be a big, tall girl.  Light wool, but lots of fleece.  Not a show stopper, but, would make a great foundation female.  Reasonably priced.

Date of Birth:  May 13, 2012
Sire: Starr Alliance

A strong, athletic, correct.  As we only keep one or two intact males per year from among our crias. True to his dam's coloring, a deep, rich brown. Teun enjoys walks in the woods.  A good companion or guard llama.

SRLL Novation                                                              Sold
Date of Birth: October 5, 2010
Sire:  SRLL Mephisto
Dam: Noticia
Another very feminine female.  White with a gray tuxedo with very good lock structure.  Novation is growing, slowly.  Novation will make a great pet or fleece llama - or, even a guard.  Everyone spoils her.  Not a big llama.  Alert and watchful.

Casino Royale                                                                        Sold
Date of Birth:  June 16, 2012
Sire:  Tillman's Slam Dunk
Dam:  Lla-Mirage Keno
Very soft fleece, the best of the 2012 crias for fleece production.  Straight, correct, full of himself.  Extremely fine, locked fiber, which is very dense.      Has very heavy bone structure.  We really like his personality.  This is another boy who takes walks in the woods with us.  As we only keep one or two of our boys intact per year, Casino is on the gelding list, for next month.  Reasonably priced.

SRLL Nyoku                               Congratulations to Gary and Jean De Boom for purchasing this fine female

SRLL Maxwell                                                             Sold!
Date of Birth:  August 29, 2012
Sire:   Starr Alliance
Dam:  SRLL Monique
Max is a live wire.  Constantly in motion.  When feeding, he is able to get the entire herd agitated.  Instead of eating his grain, he is bouncing off every one.  Very curious. The first one to notice the gate is open, when we drive the truck into the yard.

Norbert                           Congratulatiosn to Caroline Welk & Tor Soronsen for purchasing this young male

Date of Birth:  June, 2009

Sire:  Starr Alliance

Dam: Notesme

Norbert started out slow, but he is really "growing" on us.  Very correct and carries himself upright, with good presence.  Unusually locked and curled fiber, for a double coat. This young male is the sleeper in our breeding program.  Too correct for gelding, but, we already have his full brother.

SRLL Murali                                                   Sold to John & Marcia Ollendick, Ollendick Farms
Date of Birth:  May 22, 2011              3rd Place, Class 2 Silky/Traditional Females, 5 - 15 mo. 2012 Celebration

Dam: SRLL Monique                                             Grand Champion Silky Female, 2012 Llama Market
Big, tall, stretchy - and, pretty, too.  Murali looks like she will carry on the family tradition of being a show winner.  Monique and Mona are full sisters and the sire is the same, for their crias.  Therefore, it should not be surprising that the crias have the same "look."  Murali is growing like a weed - a very tall, stretchy, eye catching weed. She is going to be a very tall, big llama, just like her dam.  Murali's fleece is a unique color, with silver underneath and on the back of her neck.  And, sooo very lustrous, she even shines at night, in the dark.

Teqa epitomizes silky fiber.  A beautiful, lustrous white fiber - with spots on her tail, her underbelly, and her face.  And, we discuvered more in her blanket area, when we sheared her.  A very secret appy.  We love the way she is stretching up as she grows. Athletic, firm, muscular body and fine, lustrous fleece, typical of Starr Alliance offspring.

SRLL Naeya               Congratulations to Brenda Harding for purchasing this fine foundation female
Date of Birth:  September 16, 2009

Naeya is a really nice girl.  She carries herself like the little princess out there in the pasture.  She already knows she is something special.  Naeya has fine, silky, single coat fleece, which had regrowth in 11 months of greater than 7" in lenght in a beautiful brindle - red, black, gray, mahogany - fleece.  Very pretty, striking female.  Confirmed bred to Elwood Blues for a 2013 cria.

Mephisto             Congratulations to Penni Mcclain- Carver for the purchase of this                                                         outstanding herdsire

Sire:  WSL Aztec                      2008 ALSA National Reserve Grand Champion Suri Male
Dam: Mayte                   2009 Badgerland Sweepstakes Futurity, Suri Male, 16 - 24 Months, Champion
2009 LFA Futurity, Third Place Class S4 Suri Male
Mephisto's back is straight as an arrow;  he has great presence and attitude; and his locks are to die for!  After winning his Juvenile Suri Male class at the Great Lakes Regionals, Mephisto went on to take the 2008 ALSA National Reserve Grand Champion Suri Male.  In May, 2009, Mephisto earned Champion Suri Male 16 - 24 Month Class at Badgerland Futurity, placing over the 2009 Celebration class winner.

Don't overlook Mephisto's genetics. WSL Aztec is a prepotent male, with many national champion offspring. On the dam's side, Mayte is a daughter of The Chondor and Misty Moon's Mea.  What a great combination!  We like Mephisto well enough to use him in our own breeding program and we are very particular about our breeding males.
